English Sofas Guarantee — Payment, Delivery and Returns

We inspect all our furniture carefully before shipment and are confident that all our products are of the highest quality. If though for whatever reason you are unhappy with your sofa, as long as you tell us within 7 days we will arrange for the return of your sofa and issue you with a refund (we ask you only to share in the one way cost of transport). We also guarantee all our regular sofas against any manufacturing defect for a minimum of 2 years.

Payment

We ask you for a deposit of 25% on made-to-order items and then the balance once your order is ready; payment in-full on stock items. Payment can be made either by credit card or by cheque with an allowance of 4 days to clear.

We are pleased to accept all major credit cards, cheques or cash.

Delivery

We use experienced furniture carriers to deliver our sofas and suites. We ask you to provide us with your phone number so they can ring you to arrange a time and date for delivery.

We charge subsidised rates of £65 for one item, £85 for two items and £100 for 3 items per delivery within mainland UK. There is a surcharge of £50 for deliveries to Cornwall, Northern Scotland and Northern & Southern Ireland.

Prices for all Recliners include delivery.

We ask you to check the measurements to ensure they will fit through halls and doorways.. If the exact measurements are crucial to fit into your allocated space it is advisable to recheck them with us.

The carrier will remove the packing on arrival. We ask you to ensure that the furniture is intact. In the unlikely event you find anything damaged please ask the carrier to take it back and we will replace it as soon as we can.

Returns Policy

We would like you to feel every confidence in buying from us and so are prepared to accept the return of any purchase you are not happy with, as long as you inform us within 7 days. Should you have any query after you have made a purchase we will always be happy to assist you. Just call us during working hours or send us an email whenever you wish and we will get back to you very quickly.

Most of our frames are of solid Birch, Beech or Ash hardwood, and seats are either steel sprung or layered with high tension webbing. Hides are selected and finished by leather experts.
